    Summary:
Okay, let's face it: This course isn't awesome. But neither are you. It's good for a cheap weekend round when you need a fix. I went here a year ago, and have played it three times. It's fun. It's not in the best shape, but the layout can be challenging if you play from the tips. Not very long, but many trees on some holes, with a par-3 over a pond and a couple of doglegs. The cart paths are bumpy, the fairways are hard, the greens are fast AND slow, and the boxes need work. But for some stupid reason I really like this course, if only because it's cheap and it reminds me of where I first learned to play. The layout is cramped, with the holes packed in close to each other. At one point there are three boxes within 50 yards of each other. Kinda scary if there's a lot of hacks around. This course could really shine if they raised the rates like 10% to fund a soft renovation, like better cart paths, seeding for the greens and fairways, even just better fertilizer. At some spots on the paths and even the fairways, I was on bare dirt and pine needles.

    Customer Service:
When I went, I paid for my round, loaded up, and got a call to do an urgent errand. Checked in with the shop, they said no problem. I could even start from #1 when I got back. Very nice. I guess they could tell I was trying to escape from the in-laws...
