| | Reviewed by: rob, Shoots in the 80s Summary: Played the West course for the 1st time today. Was not impressed by Bear Creek at all. The greens had crab grass all over them making them very unpredictable and the fairways were iffy at best. There were some tee boxes that were too tough on certain sides to place a tee forcing you to use the side you didnt want to. Took almost 6 hours to get the round in today. Only reason I did not leave earlier was because of the traffic. Customer Service: Horrid. Saw the cart girl twice in 6 hours. Stood on the tee box at 6 for 30 minutes with 4 groups waiting ahead. Never saw a marshall. Should have know better when pro shop told us to go when ready that there was no starter on a sunday afternoon. Similar Courses Played: Texas Star, Iron Horse, Fossil Creek, Idian Creek, Coyote Ridge, Grapevine

| | Reviewed by: yonatangonzalez, Shoots in the 80s Summary: Great course conditions on both the East and West courses. Allot of challenging holes and some easy ones to get your score back on track. Greens roll true. A must play. Customer Service: Good service. During the week they only use one cart service for both courses so if you want something you may only see the cart twice.

| | Reviewed by: Johnny McPherson, Shoots in the 80s Summary: Played the west course and after growing up in FW and hearing how nice Bear Creek was, I did not leave disappointed. Got a special from Avid Golfer to play & was lucky to be first off in the morning- & got paired up with a regular at BC who was like a personal caddie to me. Knowing where & how to play each hole was a huge plus. The course was fun to play and I scored really well due to being in great shape, well manicured greens and overall layout.. Some holes were target golf, others were placement golf, and a couple grip and rip. Aiplane noise? Guess those others never played at Z Boaz in FW during the 70's or Morris Williams GC in Austin when the old airport was by it. Outstanding golf experience. Customer Service: Very friendly staff. Got off quick and they were sure to make me feel welcome.

| | Reviewed by: golfernut78, Shoots in the 90s Summary: I've been playing both the east and west course on a reagular basis the past 8 monthes. I am not sure what Bear Creek some of these reviewers have been playing, but its not this one. Yes, the course is at the end of a runway at DFW airport, but the airplanes are not nearly as bad as a drunken red neck honking his horn while your in your back swing, and they drwon out the drunk guy who just made a 5 foot putt. Greens are in fabulous shape. Fairways are always kept nice and green, and the bunkers are kept in very good shape (something a lot courses in the area seem to neglect). The course can be pricey, but they have great specials on there web page, and even better specials if you join there mailing list (which is free). As for play, the two courses are tight, tree lined fairways with lots of elevation changes. The east course tends to be tighter and more difficult. The west is real hilly, and more open making it just a fun time. I highly, highly recommend this course. Customer Service: Staff is very friendly.

| | Reviewed by: Aggiegolfer, Shoots in the 90s Summary: Not anywhere near as bad as other reviewers seem to think. While I will agree that these courses are probably not worth $85 to play them, nobody who plays here regularly pays anywhere near that much. I have a monthly membership that allows me to play for $15 including a cart starting at 4:30 during the long days and 2 during the short ones. Customer Service: So-So. Played today and saw the cart girl once in 2.5 hours.
