| | Reviewed by: Gene The Machine, Shoots in the 80s Summary: Course Headline: Not the best, but not the worst.
Great layout. Would be tough to walk since holes are spread apart around the community. Played in early spring and course had lots of brown patches along the fairways and greens (a little more than it should have compared to other courses in the area). Overall, nice course. Would play again in the summer when course conditions improve. Not the best, not the worst. Has driving range, practice bunker and putting/chipping green. Customer Service: $64 greens fees with cart, but if you book online, you can get for $54. At this price, course should provide free range balls, but don't. Food/drinks are expensive. Service is okay, not the best, but not the worst.

| | Reviewed by: Launcher, Shoots in the 80s, from Denver Summary: The first time I played Canterberry, I hated it. The conditions were poor and the course ate my lunch. I've played it twice in the last 2 months and the course is in much better shape. It's challenging course with just about every hole requiring some carry to reach the fairway. You need to hit the ball straight here or you'll lose a bunch. I seem to find good deal with coupons, so I paid about $34 with cart. It it were more, I probably wouldn't play Canterberry. The greens are usually challenging. It has a nice layout, but this course is a walker's nightmare. Some holes have several hundred yards between greens and next teebox. It's a bit hilly too, so expect a good workout if you walk. The practice area is weak. One putting green, no chipping green and no practice bunker. There's plenty of bunkers on the course, so a practice bunker would be nice. Service is good, but the clubhouse is small. Customer Service: Satisfactory

| | Reviewed by: Steve Tomasek, Shoots in the 90s, from castle rock, co Summary: Early season rains helped bring the course back and as of mid-JL, '03, course was still in very good shape. Tough couse that places a premium on long drive down the middle from gold or black tee's. Learn to play here, and you can handle most courses! Customer Service: Above average. Similar Courses Played: Club house is really not; poor A/C system.

| | Reviewed by: pemartin, Shoots in the 80s Summary: I've been playing this course since it opened and I've always enjoyed the layout as a true challenge(vs. typical muny golf). They did have some trouble in the last couple of years with some dicy ownership and a sudden burst of housing development, but now at least the course is getting back to the way it was before anyone new about it. The back nine is by far the real test on this course, especially in the afternoon winds that kick up out in Parker. Customer Service: ok

As a public course, this is an awesome course. Yes, you have to be somewhat of a mountain goat if you plan to walk this course; but, aside from that it's beautiful.
New ownership has brought a commitment to improve every aspect of the course. All things considered (golf cart, views, challenging course, etc.) the green fees are very reasonable.
Where else can you get a $20 twilight rate and get a cart, great views of Pikes Peak (& other front range mountains), wildlife (deer, fox, rabbit), canyons, and a great course to boot???!!! Customer Service: Pretty good.
The only thing I''ve noticed is that they''ll nickel and dime you on the cart.
They charged the 3rd in our threesome $6 more because he was riding in a cart alone. Similar Courses Played: Limited when it comes to practice facilities.
They have a driving range and a small putting green.
